Katie and Scott

Katie and Scott were married at St. Johns and held their reception at the Illinois Ballroom. It was a great wedding and Linda and I had a great time.
One unusual aspect of this wedding was that Katie's dad was very involved in the planning of the wedding. He did an excellent job and everything went very well.

Kerry and David

With venues such as St. Joan of Arc and The Columbia Club how can you go wrong? Kerry and David had a fabulous wedding and Linda and I had a great time. Between the ceremony and the reception we took a walk around Monument Circle to get a few images with Kerry's veil blowing.

Driving and Seeing

Ever since I first developed an interest in photography I have driven around looking for images. Not long ago I went down a road I had been down many times, and saw something that made me stop the car. Sometimes you just have to wait for things to be just right.

New Blog

Welcome to my newest blog. I am hoping that with this new blog I will be able to stay here for awhile. Issues with my other blogs forced me to look elsewhere and I found Typepad. I think this one will do it.

In this blog you will be able to find things about me, my photography, and my business. In this way you can learn a little more about me than you can from just viewing a website. I will also be frequently referring to my wife Linda, who is my partner in the business (and every other aspect of my life), as she is the foundation that my life is built upon. I love her much.

I will be posting photos from weddings, portrait shoots, fine art projects and things that just catch my eye on a regular basis. I will also be posting things that just interest me in general and also some tips for professional photographers. And look for information on new products for our clients too.

The photography life has been a fantastic journey for over twenty years now, and continues to get even better as it goes. So check back with us often and join the ride.
